Our Family

Ella's Ten Week Update, August 24, 2008

Ella is ten weeks old, and we appear to be turning a corner. At least when she does cry now, we have a pretty good idea what is causing it. Hopefully by the time three months rolls along, colic will be a thing of the past.

What has changed in the last couple weeks? Smiles seem to come more often now. She seems a little bored with her light and with the tongue game now. She thinks that Daddy making fart noises is the best thing going. She can mimic us nodding our head "Yes", but doesnt seem to be able to do "No" yet. Tummy time is also improving, as she can lift her head and shoulders off the floor. Here are some more photos from the past two weeks:

Ella is gradually increasing the amount of time that she is alert, but not fussing.

And we think that Mommy is gradually going insane.

Ella likes it when Daddy whistles to her.

Grammie braves the trampoline to calm Ella down.

Tummy Time!

Taking a little nap on the deck one Saturday afternoon.

This was a special treat for all of us. It has rained so much lately, that it was nice to be out of the house for a while.

Ella sticking her tongue out at Daddy.

Someone is calling! Who is it?

Looks like a wrong number.

Ella is 9 weeks old.

What does the pig say?

How degrading. Funny as hell, but we'll hear about this someday.

Hold on, some one is learning to take a little nap in the morning now!

Mary and George came to visit for the weekend.

And Ella made sure that no one missed out on the spit up fun.

Heh, my Dad thought this onsie was pretty funny.
